1st round was too easy that I felt bad winning the money of the other 3 seniors.
2nd round was average.

By the 3rd round,
 I was already feeling mentality tired and got a lil restless.
And started giving back my wins to the rest.
The game just got tougher. 

On the 4th round,
I kept going for toilet breaks,
walking to the kitchen to refill my cup,
looking for snacks.
I believe I was already running a deficit.
Was shocked that we were going for our 5th.
What a marathon record I thought.
Luckily there was a dinner break.
And Gab came home shortly after.
The game got a little better.
At the end of the whole game,
I went home with a lighter wallet of -S$20.

I wonder where all the seniors got all their energy and stamina in playing long hours Mahjong like this.
Not that I don’t enjoy playing MJ.
I do!
But 10 hours of sitting there – staring at those same tiles is way too long.
The only consolation was that I spent it with the very cute Granny.

I say keep it to 3 games maxxx.
Not exceeding 5 hours.

And yes, this shall mark the first and the last of my  MJ marathon.
Not looking forward to break this record anytime in this life.

It is back at work today.
And I can already hear the weekend calling for my name.
Let it come let it come.

And I have another MJ date with the granny and her nieces later at 12 noon.
Its a lil funny when she called to confirm the appointment with me earlier on.

The granny is ultra cute.

 And I had always thought it will be a 10-20cents game,
but to my horror – it will actually be 30-60 cents game.
I freaked out.
20-40cents has always been what I am  most comfortable with.  
oh man.  
Just for her. I told myself it is worth it.  
 

Been having this unsettling feeling of late.
A heavier than normal heart.
An uncertainty towards the future.
Plus a little fear dancing inside.

Maybe it is just the Big O crisis acting up.
I wish time can slow down,
and I can quicken my pace.
So more can be done and achieved.

Unfortunately or fortunately,
we have to follow the rules of the game (life).

The energy at work has been awesome.
With the team focusing on work,
trying to make things happen.

This is better than having a nice office pantry.

It feels extremely GOOD staying back late in office trying to complete work today.
And I even clocked in 15 min to do online purchases.
4 new tops.
What an accomplishment.

So in the end I took shorter than what I thought I may need.
Feeling all good and right again @ work.

Don’t give up focusing on doing what is right,
no matter how hard it may be at the beginning of things.

Expecting some currents of changes happening,
not sure what things will evolve.
But I am all positive about it.

And I am thinking probably the cycling on Saturday @ East Coast Park,
and the mahjong on Sunday with all the fav ppl was the exact antidote needed for the body.soul.&mind.  

Just that the process of training up the mind is a tad exhausting I must say.
Like doing a long distance run.
There is always this temptation to give up.

In times of crisis,
there bound to be new opportunities.
I know it.
However, it is the emotion side of thing that is making things a little complicating for me to take at the moment.
But I will be there.
And I am giving myself 1 month to strengthen up.

No matter how much support others are giving you,
I know it is still really up to me and myself.

So for now,
my goal is to finish the run.

The road and traffic is sooooo bad that I wonder how many gets killed on the road everyday.

To prove my point,
we missed our flight from Jakarta back to Singapore.
The traffic was soooo baddddd…
And my friend said the only possible time when the road is not jam,
is when everyone is sleeping.

That kinda got everyone in the group panicky.
While I was all zen and thought it was an interesting experience.

So there on my list,
I have my share of chasing almost taking off flight,
and then now missing my flight.
