I’m such a procrastinator.

The deal is pretty good.
If anyone is keen let me know, I can refer you the goody guy I signed up with.

I duno how I am going to get started.
When and what.
Secretly praying I will be discipline and not let the $$ go waste.

I hope this will help myself feeel better…

So what had happened for the past couple of weeks.
Appraisal over.
Moved to the new office upstairs.
I like it there.
Change is good.

My beloved Pink Ladies have been connecting recently.
And it feels good!!!
Planning to spend  some chummy chimmy time together..

I am into Wellington boots lately!!
The rubbery cute..rainy boot.
I hope Chin can find smth I like in US!!
I need to own a pair. at least a pair. seriously.

Finished the book “Outliers”.
We were made to read it by our bigbigbig boss.
A book I wouldn’t have pick up in a bookstore.
But it is a good book that talking abt successes.
With research on successful people like Mozart, Bill Gates and others.
Covers 2 main things – Opportunity and Legacy .
Success doesn’t always happen just by IQ or luck.
There are a lot more.
I will likely be reading it again.
Go Read!

I have also started this book titled – The Greatness Guide by Robin Sharma.
A book highly recommended to me by my client-turned-friend,
because of all the frustrations I was facing at work.
It is a very good book.
becuz it is so easy to read! and it is so so so easy to relate!
There is one quote inside that reads:

Reading a book by someone you respect allows some of their brillance to rub off on you.

So, please go read books! Positive ones only pls!

I intend to start my every day reading positive article or book.
I am certain it helps to start my day right.
….

There are so much to look forward to in life.
I want to enjoy every single bit of it.
With smile. with contentment. with thanks.

Weekends have been really enjoyable.
This one and the last one.
And more to come I am sure.
Fun and laugthers loaded.
The time reads 4.52 am.
Must be the work of the bailey coffee I had earlier.

.Friday.
Celebrated Ah mei’s birthday
Dinner was simple Thai Express.
Totally heart their clear tomyam soup.
Chilled @ The Heat Lounge again.
Really like that plc.
Their Lychee Mojito is yummy.

.Saturday.
Joined Emily and gang for Christian’s belated birthday @ Changi Village.
Gotta to know some new friends.
They are all so nice!
When you hang out with nice people,
you will meet more nice people =D

I suspect this has got something to do with age.
I am not sure if this is the correct way to describe it.
I think I am more and more at peace with myself.
Just really really happy with what I have.
Though I still frown at the small matters,
I am still a happy girl at the end of the day!

People always say it is difficult to make friends when you gets older.
I must be a blessed retard.

Cry if you need to.
Laugh a good laugh.
and Dance when you feel like it!

Be happy with what you have.

Be happy people!
We only have 1 life.
So lets live it to the fullest!

And  I am still reminiscing the happy moments of the past 2 days.
I attended a great wedding dinner on 19 09 09 at St Regis.
The groom and bride are wonderful people.
A couple who possesses lots of zest for life.
They filled the beautiful occasion with gratitude, appreciation and sincerity.
Some happy surprises that caught us (guests) off guard.
A beautiful beautiful wedding.
One that made me teared on many touching occasions.
From their tea  ceremony, the exchanging of vows,
to the thank you speech and the very well-done montages..
We had so much fun.
The band was good and couples (like us) started joining the crowd and dance away in total enjoyment.

Its is such an honor to be part of this matrimony.

And like how becks describe it..
They are true definition of what commitment is all about.

I love how they give thanks to their parents.
No cheesy funny lines or words.
But a very real and lovely montage prepared specially for their parents that speaks on behalf of the couple.
.Filial piety.
Such great reminder to some of us who may have taken our parents for granted in one way or another.

20.09.09
Gbk and Ms Ong went back to the hotel for more happy time!
To chill with the couple,
and some friends who we made during our dive trip.
We were all thoroughly entertained throughout the night,
with the drinking card game Jasmine taught us play.
It is a session filled with hearty laughters,
which Ms Ong totally totally loves.

Happy moments are good reminder that:
You must work hard while you need to,
so you can play as hard when the time arrives.

Ms Ong is motivated to work hard.
So she can go travelling, diving and dolling up her future house.

“Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to,
doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have.
Everyone loves differently.”

Great quote from someone out where.
I don’t now who but must be a super genius. ;p

So true.
For friendship. for lover. for family members.
This is applicable for everyone!

Lets all keep this in mind!!

….

AND! Miss Ong is on the road of recovery!
Fever gone.
Throat recovering well.
Thank you ladies..  your concern is really appreciated!! Be it a phone/sms. MUCKS!
And Big Thank You to GBK who dropped by to check on me every single day before reporting to work!

I was feeling really miserable at home.  =)

Miss Ong has fallen terribly ill for the past days.
Thou GBK regretted for not being insistent enough to send her straight home after her complaint of body ache on Saturday.
She was happy that she had at least enjoyed her Saturday before her suffering began.
She suffered from massive body ache and sore throat on Sunday.
She felt so so so ill that she was unable to get up from bed.
She spent 20 hrs a day slping away,
getting up only for toilet, medicine and some food.
Luckily her 2 sisters was only a call away.

Today is Tuesday.
She is still on MC.
Doc has just given her another 3 days of MC.
Her body no longer ache,
so she can play some computer games and sit around in the house more.
Her throat doesn’t hurt as much now,
but the voice has yet to recover.
Her persistent fever is her major concern now.

Doc said Its a mixed of throat, sinus and respiratory tract infection.

An Xray has to be done tomorrow if the fever still doesn’t go away.

God Bless Her!

Went to Tioman earlier this mth.
With Caz. CK. Emily. Christ.
The water was super choppy.
The wooden boat we were on just went rocking away.
Had very bad seasickness. Puked non stop.
On the boat, on the water, in the water, back on boat.
To make it worse, we had to rigged up our dive equipments ourselves!
I hate it! They are just too heavy for me to handle on land!
The visibility was bad. The current was strong.
We were lucky to have our bfs there with us seriously!!
**Thanks sweetie!**

I was stung by the sea urchin when we were doing the navigation test.
Scared the wits outta  me.
I thought they were poisonous and I was going to die!
but they are not!

We did not manage to upgrade our rustic looking room.
The broom sitting at the corner of our room gave me creeps.
I mean who the hell will put a sweeping broom in the corner of the room like that!
My mind was wide awake and my heart was pounding hard when I was supposed to be aslp.
The silence of the night was deafening and unbearable for a timid girl like me.
Our dive instructor is to be blamed, he kept trying to scare us with his so claimed “stories”  he wanted to share!
But we refused to listen!
but that idea itself is enough to let our imaginations run wild!

The night dive was like SUPERR scary.
I would like opt out if not for the fact it is compulsory for my advanced cert.
The sky was dark.
The sea, of course, pitch dark!
It was drizzling and there were lightning somehow.
We cautiously descended into the water; with a touch light in hand.
I descended too quickly; and gab thought he lost me.
It is no joke to get lost in the big black sea.
BUT I have to say one can really get to see amazing stuffs in a night dive.
The tiny organisms in the water turn luminous once you start flicking the water.
And I have to admit, this itself, is not suffice for me to do another night dive.
Its scary.. cold…. and too dangerous in my opinion.

Overall… I do enjoy the trip with the nice company of people!

26.06 -The Special Day of Miss Ong

Yes I am one lucky lass.
Celebrated my special day(s) with people I like throughout the weekend!
and thoroughly blessed with gifts which I want and love.

It started on Thursday.
Colleagues bought me the books I requested: The King never smiles. A gift for my children.
and sang a lovely birthday song for me.
How can I miss out the handmade cards they gave me! Swweet.

Met the Vball gers for a chill-out session @ Heat Ultralounge.
It was a super good deal – Ladies nite. S$18.
You get to enjoy a freeflow of straight, fruit juices and beer.
I got a set of gorgeous bikini and surf shorts;
and a crazy fun fun fun night!
Qing made it especially memorable,
when she pulled us out and led us to the dancing floor.
The scene reminded me of Sexy & The City show very much.
yes. it is a lot of fun!!!

GBK & I took leave on the actual day.
We made the wrong choice by going to HDB hub.
Oh well, that one aside.
We watched Transformers.
Very entertaining. Easy to watch plot.
Yes. My kind of movie. Haha!
Had a mini dinner surprise.
at the very pretty looking Mimolette restaurant located at old Turf Club.
I was amused with the road sign that reads “Dead Slow. Horse walking”,
when the cabby was turning into the small alley.
Highly recommended for couples who wants to have a romantic dinner.
Instead of enjoying a candlelight dinner for two,
we chose to do it with our lovely friends.
That’s the mini surprise I was talking abt.
Dint expect them to be at the restaurant, and they were!
Was really touched that they made the effort to dine there with us,
as it is hidden away in some corner of Singapore. =)
Pls rem to order their foie gras!
It is highly highly recommended!!!
I was nvr a big fan of foie gras,
but they do it really well there!
The dishes we ordered were all pretty good.
Awww..and their desserts too! =) =)
We eneded the day at the Wine Company and prata for supper.

PostBirthdayCelebration.
is spent with Ah Hui+1, Ah Cong +1, Ah Yen+1, Ah Quan, Ah Yi,
yummu shabu shabu was served at my place (courtesy of Big Ong).
We chilled all the way to ..  3am? 4am?
Been a long long time since we last do this.
Reminds me of the good o’time spent chatting @ Jalan Kayu.

And how can I missed out the very sweet . funny.nicely made birthday card from lovely Small Ong.

A Big BIG BIG Thank You to everyone who has made me a very happy person in one way or another.

Cheers to Good Health, Good Joy and many more Birthdays with you guys!

.xoxo.

The feeling of defeated is awful.
Is my guardian angel napping at the wrong time?

Hey Peeps,
I am back!
Needless to say – it is more than fun!
The ladies are hardcore shoppers man!
They practically went crazy.
Crazy woman no. 1 – I vote Qing!
Crazy woman no. 2 – I vote Yiyi.
So no. 3 goes to Apple. Ha!
Well, she’s usually calm and compose, so  how crazy can she get right?

The trip in brief:
Endless walking for 3 full days,
taking away lunch, late dinner and slping time.
We start our day as early as 9 am, or 10 am and then ALL the way!
Covered the usual hunting places like Siam Sq/Platinum, Paragon, etc etc etc..
Amidst the random walking/shopping,
we had some really fine discoveries.
From a nice Crepe resturant that pop out of nowhere ,
to a nice shop that seem to sell nice decent tailor-made evening dresses,
and my favourite would be the shop that specializes in females coats/jackets!
Ordered 2 jackets for myself. Those Blum alike.
All in, at a mere S$200 + (inclusive of shipping to SG summor!)
It is not exactly cheap cheap in BKK context,
but it is in SG context!

Our girlie shopping trip was ended with a lovely 2 hours Thai Massage,
and a pretty rush dinner/dessert @ sweet Secret Garden.
Then, a final final farewall was done nicely with a round of red wine for the 3 ladies and mocktail for myself!

The trip recharges me as much as it exhausted me.
All girls trip is a MUST have!!
Simply bcuz – you feel young and energetic once again
So with the saying that goes:
An apple a day keeps the doctor away,
I say!
A girlie trip a year keeps the aging age away!
Woohoo~~~!!

Cheers to Bangkok, we will be back for more!
 Wahahaha…

::xoxo::
